Colonial Quilts

The second grade classes created a colonial quilt after learning about the Pilgrims.  The early settlers used scraps of materials to create different patterns.  Here are a few:

Eat ____, Not Turkey!

We have a new writing activity.  Our turkeys are trying to persuade us to eat something else for Thanksgiving.  Everyone did an awesome job!

Math Morning

We had a Math Morning where we played math games for an hour in our room and then switched with Mrs. Kisner's class and played different games there.  We practiced our math skills, won prizes, and had lots of fun!

Writing some spooky number stories with some Halloween stamps makes some scary fun.

We are playing Pumpkin Tracks with Grandma Lois.

Mrs. Brocious helps us play Halloween Bump.

Addition Top-It is made more fun with ghostly number cards.

Here are lots of pictures of us playing and learning.
