100th Day of School!

The 100th Day of School has come and gone.  It's hard to believe we have been in second grade 100 days.  We celebrated with projects and games!

Kamryn made the 100 with 100 shakey eyes.  Then she decorated her poster.

Josh made a face with 100 pieces of macaroni.

Mrs. Kisner's class joined ours in writing 100 things we've learned this year.  Awesome!

Next we played math games.  We rolled the die 100 times and see which numbers came up the most.  When we finished with that, we  moved on to flipping a coin 100 times to see if heads or tails came up the most.  We all had different answers.  Interesting!

Predicting how high water would come in our cups with 100 drops was our favorite activity of the day!

Another station was filling out our 100th Day News.

We ended the day by writing all the ways we could to make $1.00.  There are so many!

Ms. Willingham, Our Student Teacher

We have been so lucky that we have a student teacher from OVU this winter.  Ms. Willingham has been working with us for the last 5 weeks.  She has 2 more weeks with us.

Ms. Willingham uses the Mimio board to help us with helping verbs.

As part of our morning routine, we turn our homework to be checked.

It's Show-N-Tell time.
Dylan shows us his Lego truck.

Alina shows us her craft.
