Wow! We can't believe that has been almost a month since we've posted anything. Time flies when you are busy second graders.
Today was WV Read to Me Day so we had a Read-A-Rama. We brought in blankets, sleeping bags, and pillows and read or listened to books ALL day. We had a great time.
Thanks to Mrs. Smittle, Mrs. Colvin, Mrs. Lynch, and Miss Koehler for reading to us today. Also, thanks to Mr. Kisner's class for doing a great reader's theater for us. We learned a lot about making laws. We hope the salmon are as successful in their attempts as the turkeys were!

| Mrs. Smittle reads Fluffy's Thanksgiving. Fluffy, the guinea pig, has some real adventures. We figured out the the genre was a type of fiction called fantasy and Fluffy was a great example of personification. |
