We are decorating our Valentine's Day bags. Several of us contributed extra stickers and cool stuff to put on them to make them super special!

Median, Mode, & Range
We just finished a fun unit in math. We figured the median (middle number), mode (the number used most often), and range (the difference between the greatest and smallest numbers) of our arm spans and jumps. We had to put the numbers in order and then find the answers. It was great!
These are our class charts we made.
Here we are working on making our own graphs in our Math Journals.

Student Teacher - Mr. Blanc
Greetings
My name is Brian Blanc and I will be student teaching with Mrs. Games for the next 7 weeks. I am a student at Ohio Valley University and will be graduating in May with degrees in elementary education and special education. I have already spent the past 5 weeks student teaching here at Vienna with Mrs. Weiagand and I have been fortunate enough to have met Mrs. Games’ class a few times while I was working with Mrs. Weiagand. I have been impressed with what I have seen from the students so far and I am looking forward to working with and getting to know each student over the next several weeks.
If you have any questions about my placement or would like a chance to meet me, please feel free to contact Mrs. Games or I.

Crystal Gardern
Snow has made us think about crystals. We've read lots of books about snow and crystals. From reading about "Snowflake" Bentley we learned that most snow crystal have 6 arms but some only have 3. We've made our own snowflakes and written snow stories and poems.
We decided to see if we could grow our own crystals. We used charcoal, ammonia, bluing, salt, and water to start.
The white on the charcoal are the crystals growing.
