100th Day of School

     We have finally had 100 days of school!  With all of our snow days, I wasn't sure we were ever going to make it.  This afternoon we celebrated with 5 different stations of activities involving 100.  We had a blast!  Look at our pictures to see how much fun we had.
     Before we got started we made 100 Days Smarter hats while Mrs. Games read The 100th Day of School From the Black Lagoon.  That Hubie is quite a character.

This was probably the overall favorite!  We built with 100 cups.  Sometimes we were more successful than others!  LOL

Our Student Teacher

     We have been lucky enough to have a student teacher this winter.  Her name is Mrs. Darlene Archer.  Mrs. Archer is a former student of Vienna Elementary and is completing her education with us.  She is doing a super job!

Pajama Read-A-Rama

     We won the Box Top award for November so we decided to have a Pajama Read-A-Rama.  We got comfortable and read all day.  After we read a book we were able take AR tests.  We gained a lot of points!

The Christmas Party



          Our parents planned a cute sock snowman craft for us to work on first.

 

     Now it is time to pass the presents right and left in a circle to decide which one we will get.

 

      It's game time!  We are playing Jingle Jump.  Bells are placed in empty tissue boxes and belted on us.  Then we have to jump and the first person to jump all the bells out is the winner.  What a hoot!

     Our dads were so much help with the game that we decided they should jump!  They were such great sports! 

Christmas Writing --The Twelve Days of Christmas

     We read different versions of The Twelve Days of Christmas.  Then we read a book called The Twelve Dogs of Christmas written by an eight year old girl named Emma Kragen.  She inspired us to write our own versions of the books.  Here we are hard at work!
