     Our second grade parents are awesome.  They planned a fabulous Luau for us!  We had so much fun.  Mrs. Games took a ton of pictures and she is posting them by game.

Poetry Party

     We had a wonderful poetry party on Friday, June 5th.  The students memorized poems of their choice and presented them to their parents.  I didn't take any pictures during the event because we were having so much fun that I forgot. I did take some pictures of us practicing the song we sang at the end.

COSI on Wheels!

     COSI on Wheels came to Vienna today to teach us about space. We had a wonderful time.  The pictures aren't very good because Mrs. Games ran out of time but you can see a little bit of what we got to do.

Lukas and Matthew are testing how 10 pounds of Earth weight compares to other planets.

Lukas found out that he weighs the least on the moon where there is the least amount of gravitational pull.

Shane, Allison, and Eva (in the back) are looking at the lengths of different orbits of different planets.

Here Joseph and Cody learn about air pressure and the importance of wearing a space suit.  If you don't, you'll explode!
