Tuesday, Dec. 23 - Party Day!

We had a super busy day!  We listened to the 4th graders sing, opened friend gifts, and watched a movie in the morning.

It's party time after the 5th Graders put on an excellent program for us.  Our parents sent in fun things for our bags.  One of our favorite things was the Wikki Sticks!

Game Time!  Our first game was Pin the Nose on Rudolph.  What fun!

We made snowmen out of our classmates.  It was harder than it looked!

Starting at the bottom didn't work well for Aislinn's team.  After some difficulty at the bottom, they switched to the top.

Caleb, Trinity, Jadyn, and Jaxton succeed in getting Abigail covered and decorated!

Matthew, Izzy, Eva, and Lukas finally got Allison done.

Blake, are you one of those snowmen?

Time to test our knowledge of Christmas carols and see if you can read Mrs. Games's mind.  Her mind was a little scattered but 2 teams were able to match 5 answers with her.

Winter charades were a hoot!

Mrs. Games got in on the action.  Can you guess what she's acting out?

Penguin!

Happy Holidays from Room 10!

Monday, Dec. 22 - Snow Globes

Mrs. King and Mrs. Ranson came in and helped us create adorable snow globes with our pictures inside.

First, Mrs. King helps us put the glitter and distilled water in our jars.   Abby and Allison find their jars.

Then, Mrs. Ranson supervises the ribbons that go on the bottom.  Jaxton ties his ribbon on.

Joseph and Shane show off the finished products!

Trinity shows off her snow globe.

While we are waiting our turn, we color a winter picture and make poinsettias.

Halloween

A Halloween listening activity starts our afternoon.

Our parents are preparing a ghost craft for us.  Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Pauley, Mrs. Ranson, and Mrs. King are ready to take over.

I see some ghostly shapes appearing, Meredith!

Our treat bags are filled with lots of fun.  Jaxton's balloon is huge!
After our crafts and fun with our treat bags we had our parade, and then it was time to go home.  It was a great day.
