Christmas 2015

We had a great time at our Christmas Party.  Our parents did an awesome job planning it.  We had lots of fun with the games and crafts.

Singing At Eagle Point

We went to sing for the residents at Eagle Point Nursing Home. We had fun and the residents were very enthusiastic about having us.  Mrs. Walsh is an excellent music teacher!  We couldn't have done it without her.

We're twisting!

Block the Door

The second graders helped organize a "Block the Door" campaign to get nonperishable food for our local food bank.  We made signs and had the classes collect food.  If you were able to block the door with what you collected, then the class was rewarded with a fun activity for the morning.  We decided to do a Read-a-Rama.  Mr. Morris came and helped us.  We had a couple of crashes so Mr. Morris suggested doubling our cans halfway up the door.  It probably saved us from injury!  We would have needed steel toe shoes and hard hats.

Click, Clack, Moo

We love books by Doreen Cronin.  We read Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type last week and did a reader's theater.  Here are a few of us.

Halloween Math Morning

We had a great morning playing math games in our room and in Mrs. Kisner's room.  A big thanks goes to Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Homer for all of their help!

     Here we are playing Bump:

     Now we're playing Pumpkin Tracks:

Playing Boo Top-It was lots of fun too:

Red Ribbon Week - Wednesday

I forgot to take pictures yesterday of us dressed in our hats for  "Hats off for being drug free!"  Sorry about that.

Today was "I'm too bright for drugs!"  Check us out in our bright colors.  Mrs King also came in to talk to us.
