| This is our catepillar when we first got him on Monday from Mrs. Morris. |

| He eats milkweed leaves. We fed him everyday. He got fatter and fatter. |

| Yesterday (Sunday), he crawled to the top and attached himself. |

| Then on Monday morning he started to make his "J" which is the beginning of his chrysalis. |
 |
| Monday afternoon during math groups he made his chrysalis. |
The stages of the Monarch Butterfly are: the egg, the larvae (catepillar), the pupa (chrysalis), and then adult (Monarch Butterfly).
